Returns & exchanges
A damaged or incorrect piece is always put right at our cost. Here is how that works, in plain terms.
The short version
- Return window
- Change-of-mind returns aren't offered
- Exchanges
- Refund only
Where handmade differs
Small differences between pieces — in weave, in dye depth, in the placement of a printed motif — are how handwork looks. They are not faults and they are not grounds for a refund, and we would rather say that here than argue it later.
What is a fault: a tear, a seam coming apart, dye that runs on the first wash, the wrong size, or a piece that does not match its description. Any of those we put right.
If it's damaged or wrong
We collect it at our cost and either replace it or refund you in full — whichever you prefer. This applies whatever the return window says, and you are never asked to pay postage on our mistake.
Email us with your order number and a photograph, and we will arrange the pickup.
How to start one
Email swadhahandmade@gmail.com with your order number and a line about what is wrong. A person reads it — usually the same day — and replies with what happens next. There is no form and no ticket number.
