Savitri Devi

Savitri Devi is a second-generation block print artisan from Bagru, Rajasthan, where traditional hand block printing has been practiced for centuries. She learned the craft from her parents at a young age and has spent more than 25 years perfecting intricate floral and geometric patterns using hand-carved wooden blocks and natural dyes.

Every piece she creates is carefully printed by hand, making each textile unique with its own subtle variations. Her work reflects patience, precision, and a deep respect for India's rich textile heritage.

Through Swadha, Savitri Devi continues to preserve traditional craftsmanship while bringing authentic handmade creations into modern homes around the world.
